Projects

SAiS participates in a portfolio of European, DFG and MATH+ projects spanning conservative stochastic partial differential equations, rough transport, stochastic dynamics, interacting particle systems and the mathematical foundations of machine learning. Across these projects, a common objective is to understand how microscopic randomness and algorithmic stochasticity generate effective large-scale behaviour—and to turn that understanding into rigorous analytical tools and reliable numerical methods.
